Awards & Benefits
Through the support of our partners, we have been able to put together a variety of rewards that are intended to assist the entrants of the Minnesota Cup as they pursue their entrepreneurial path. Following is the detail of the rewards that will be provided.
Division Winners:
- $20,000 in seed capital (student winner receives $5,000)
- A Scholarship for complimentary attendance to the 23rd Annual Minnesota Venture & Finance Conference hosted by The Collaborative
- Final presentation consulting by Spoken Impact

Minnesota Cup Grand Prize Winner:

- Business services from the Maslon law firm.
- One feature article distributed through the ARA Content network
All finalists: (18)
- Featured in a Twin Cities Business supplement in the fall of 2009.
- Division Finalist Training - "Winning Investment Presentations" by Spoken Impact
- Detailed feedback of their final written entry and oral presentation.
- The opportunity to present their plan through an oral presentation to an esteemed review board made up of prominent business leaders.
All semi-finalists: (45-60)
- One month of access to "HillSearch" professional research tools from the James J. Hill Reference Library.
- An invitation to attend a semi-finalist reception at the James J. Hill Reference Library, where they can meet other semi-finalists, members of the review board, and Minnesota Cup partners.
- Opportunity to work with members of CEO Roundtable for feedback and advice.
All entrants:
- Access to "The Minnesota Cup Hill Resource Center" from the James J. Hill Reference Library to assist with their plan.
- One year, complimentary subscription to Twin Cities Business.
- A valuable experience that will help all entrants as they work on their ventures.
